"Jennifer has been sewing as long as she can remember, including costuming for a renaissance theatrical group in Nashville, Tennessee.  She moved to Kentucky for the horses - she earned her M.S. and Ph.D. from the University of Kentucky conducting horse research.  She has taught extensively at the college level since 1995 and has extensive experience with learners of all ages.  She expanded her experiences into new artistic venues and added to her credentials when she became a Sulky Certified Teacher in 2009.  She continued that training in 2010 and has already scheduled for the 2011 course.  Currently she is designing and creating unique appliqued, embellished, and machine free-motion quilted wall-hangings incorporating her own "Mohair Magic" technique."
