COME SEE US ON THE 2019 Kenton County Farm Tour - September 21 & 22!

Free Radical Ranch is open Saturday from 10-5 and Sunday from 11-5!

This event is a FREE, family-friendly, and educational self-guided tour offering behind-the-scenes glimpses into our working farm!

Free Radical Ranch has been a small family farm in Piner, Kentucky since 2009 when we bought our first registered Katahdin hair sheep!  You’ll now see over 12 different species of livestock on our diversified family farm!

You’ll get to meet our alpacas, llamas, Angora goats, Katahdin hair sheep, cows, horses, ponies, Idaho Pasture pigs, potbelly pigs, Nigerian dwarf goats, Alpine and Nubian dairy goats, chickens, turkeys, banty chickens, ducks, peacocks, rabbits, plus barn cats and dogs!  Learn about each animal and about the methods and equipment we use on the farm!

We specialize in non-GMO beef, pork, lamb, chicken eggs and duck eggs, all raised with love. We raise healthy produce with a diverse selection of heirloom and heritage varieties.

Our Suri and Huacaya alpacas produce our amazing alpaca fiber and we harvest our mohair fiber from our Angora goats. We offer unique fabric/fiber gifts and art including one-of-a-kind and farm-themed items. We make Tri-Dangle earrings using our own 20+ year design. We offer quality KHSI-registered Katahdin hair sheep breeding stock.

We invite the public to our open farm events and always include an educational perspective and ample picture opportunities! We’ll even have Gateway Community and Technical College STEM Club students on hand to add to your learning experience about the biological perspective behind why we do what we do!

We’ll have our non-GMO beef, pork, eggs, and produce available for purchase (bring your cooler!) plus amazing alpaca and mohair fiber gifts and other farm-themed items for sale in our On-Farm Store!

Food and craft vendors will also be hosted! You’ll have your choice of fresh tacos, amazing fruit juice, and baked goods to enjoy in our sitting area under the big pasture tree!
